Confidentiality policy relating to applicants’ personal data

The purpose of this policy is to inform applicants to our job vacancies about how Brittany Ferries collects, uses and protects their personal data as part of the recruitment process.

 

WHO PROCESSES YOUR DATA?

BAI SA, whose trading name is Brittany Ferries, is the “data controller” of the personal data collected and processed via the recruitment website, or by post, as well as in the event of an unsolicited application.

Brittany Ferries is subject to French and European legislation on personal data. Your information is processed in the European Union and potentially in the United Kingdom.

Your personal data will be kept for the duration of the recruitment phase. If we offer you a job and you accept it, the information gathered during the application and recruitment process will appear in your professional file.

If we do not offer you a job, and subject to your prior consent, we will only keep your information for the purpose of informing you of other job opportunities, and for a maximum period of two years.

 

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE CONCERNING YOUR DATA?

In accordance with the law, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your data and the right to object to it for reasons relating to your particular situation. Under certain conditions, you also have the right to have your data deleted, the right to data portability and the right to limit processing.
