If you hold a Professional Certificate in Cooking, are familiar with HACCP hygiene standards and have an experience in catering, we are interested in your profile !

Passionate with refined cuisine, you are ready to live a collective and maritime adventure. Become a cook on board our ferries.

In our kitchen staff, as a cook, you contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our customers by preparing meals as per  the menu defined by the Operations of Hotel Services Management.
 

Missions 

  • Ensure the cooking, assembly and presentation of dishes
  • Make sure that hygiene and safety standards are respected
  • Manage the stocks and participate in raw material orders
  • Work in team to guarantee an efficient, high-quality service
  • Adapt preparations according to passenger volume and demand

Profile

  • You hold a Professional Certificate in Cooking and have a first experience in catering
  • You are familiar with HACCP hygiene and safety standards
  • You are dynamic, creative and meticulous
  • You are team-spirited with good listening and service skills

  • Required mobility to embarkation ports
  • Short terms rotations 
  • Fixed-term contracts
  • Valid passport required

How to apply ? 

  • You shall apply at least one month before your availabity date to enable us to process your maritime registration. 
  • All our vacancies are displayed on this website. Prepare a CV and application letter and don’t forget to indicate your availability period. 
  • An interview in order to assess your soft skills will be organized with a recruiter.
  • After passing your interview, you will have to undergo training in on-board safety.

Notre process de recrutement

Chez Brittany Ferries, le processus de recrutement est adapté au poste pour lequel le candidat a postulé. Certains postes peuvent avoir des exigences spécifiques.

Dans un premier temps, nous vous contacterons pour vous présenter le poste pour lequel vous avez postulé et mieux vous connaître. Dans un second temps, un entretien sera organisé avec un membre du service des ressources humaines et/ou un représentant du poste concerné.
